Goat Meat Pepper Soup 

Goat Meat – 2 lbs

1 – 2 Large Onions

Fresh Red Scotch Bonnet Peppers

Fresh Red Scotch Bonnet Peppers


Uziza and Uda Powder (Alternatively – use pepper soup mix)

Utazi Leaves

Stock Cubes

Salt to taste


  1. Blend your onions and Scotch Bonnet Peppers

  2. Wash your goat meat and pour in the blended onions and peppers

  3. Add in your stock cubes and salt

  4. Boil for 15 minutes until steaming

  5. Add in the crayfish and pepper soup spices (Uziza, Uda or Pepper soup mix)

  6. Continue to add water as needed and cook until meat is soft

  7. Add the Utazi leaves for garnishing.

Pepper soup is ready!!!


Puff-puff Recipe 

2 cups of all purpose flour

6 table spoons of confectioners powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 table spoon of instant yeast

1 table spoon of nutmeg

1 small onion

Vegetable oil for fying


Bread Recipe 

2 cups of all purpose flour (unbleached)

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup of milk

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup of white sugar

1/2 cup butter

3 extra ripe bananas

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon or pure vanilla extract

Raisins and nuts (optional)


Ofe Nsala Recipe

Chicken, Fish or Goat meat

Ground crayfish

Dried fish

Pounded yam flour

Dried peppers – 1 teaspoon

Scotch Bonnet peppers – 2



Utazi leaves

Uziza and uda or Pepersoup mix


Abacha Recipe

Abacha (about one and a half pack)


Akaun (about 1tbspn dissolved in water)

Dried or Smoked fish (of your choice)

Fried beef and cowskin ( cut in peppersoup size)

Maggi for seasoning (between 2 to 3 small cubes)

Salt to taste

Red oil or Palm Oil

Habanero pepper

Dried red shrimps
