Bananas are a great source of our daily vitamins and minerals such as Potassium, Magnesium, Manganese, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Fiber. I started making Banana bread because I realized that I was throwing away a lot of overripe bananas without realizing that it’s extreme ripeness is perfect for Banana Bread!
Overripe bananas have a unique sweetness that makes the banana bread oh so delicious! Here is my all-time recipe for Banana Bread.

2 cups of all purpose flour (unbleached)
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of white sugar
1/2 cup butter
3 extra ripe bananas
1 teaspoon lemon juice*
1 teaspoon or pure vanilla extract
Raisins and nuts (optional)
